Kitchen/dining area:

The open plan kitchen/dining area has a large breakfast bar and separate dining table and chairs.  It has a well equipped, fully fitted kitchen including electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven.

Living area:

The sitting area has comfy sofas and arm chairs, plus a large flat screen TV/DVD/CD/home theatre.  In the reclaimed brick fireplace is a wood burning stove for colder weather (wood supplied).  French doors open out into the secure yard.

At the far end of the sitting area is a large cupboard full of dog towels, throws etc.  and there’s plenty of room here for dog beds/crates.  Another set of French doors lead out into a covered area with an additional fridge and freezer.

A hallway leads to…..

Bedroom One with en suite shower room:

This room overlooks the garden at the front and has a king sized zip and link bed, which can be converted to twin beds if required.  There is also a wardrobe and drawer units.  The en-suite shower room has a large, walk in shower with rainfall shower head, wash basin, toilet and storage unit.

Bedroom Two:

This room also overlooks the garden at the front and has a Victorian style double bed, wardrobe and drawer unit.

Bedroom Three:

The smaller bedroom looks out onto the yard space.  It has twin beds, which can be linked together into a king sized if required, hanging space and a chest of drawers.

Family Bathroom:

The bathroom has a rainfall shower over the bath, an old fashioned high line toilet and built in sink unit with plenty of storage.

Heating:

There is underfloor heating throughout, from a ground source heat pump powered by our own on site renewable generation.  The wood burning stove if you need a little extra cosiness.

Garden/Outside Areas:

The large paved yard is fully enclosed, providing a secure area for your dogs.  The raised and cobbled flower beds add a bit of extra character.  There is gas barbeque and outdoor furniture for you to relax in and watch the sunset after a busy day’s exploring.  At the front of the Old Piggery there is a small grassed area.

Running Hare Barn is on the east side of the yard, however every effort has been made to ensure that the Old Piggery yard is not overlooked and that the two barns have minimal impact on each other.

My first holiday in The Old Piggery and from the minute you step through the door everything you could want or need is taken care of!  The welcome pack is perfect, the furnishings are gorgeous, beds more than comfy and towels fluffy and plentiful.  A fabulous base to explore the East Norfolk coast.  Lovely walks from the front door, beaches just a short drive away – heavenly.
